We collect information you provide when creating and using your account: your name, email address, and payment details, and, depending on how you use Sellpher, your country, profile photo, company or brand details, social handles (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), and audience size and niche. We also collect information about your use of Sellpher, including campaigns created, proposals submitted, and transactions completed. We also collect your IP address and a device identifier when you claim free AI Scanner credits. This is used only to prevent abuse of free features. We limit how many free claims can come from one device or one network. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking you across other sites.
We use your information to: • Provide and improve our services • Process payments and transfers • Send notifications about your account activity. If you enable push notifications, we store a notification token for your device so we can deliver them; you can turn this off in your device settings • Prevent fraud and ensure platform security • Comply with legal obligations Marketing emails. Beyond account and transactional emails, we occasionally send marketing emails: product news, tips for getting started, and digests of campaigns you may want to apply to. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also turn these off anytime in your notification settings. Unsubscribing never affects account, payment, or campaign emails, which we send because they are part of operating your account.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe (international) and Paystack (Africa). Sellpher does not store your full card details. Payment processing is governed by the respective payment processor's privacy policy.
Videos uploaded by creators are stored securely on Cloudinary. Watermarked previews are shown to brands before payment. Full video access is only granted after payment is confirmed. Sellpher does not claim ownership of creator content. When you use the AI Video Scanner, the video and any caption you provide are processed by an automated AI system to generate a performance score and feedback. When you use the AI Ad Scanner, the ad image or creative and any ad copy you provide are processed by an automated AI system to generate a performance score, feedback, and policy-risk flags. This analysis is used solely to provide you with the scanner results and to improve the feature. If you open a payment dispute, the evidence you provide (a note, links, and an optional or required photo) is collected and reviewed by Sellpher support to resolve the dispute.
Sellpher offers AI-powered tools including the AI Video Scanner, the AI Ad Scanner, and an AI support assistant. • AI Video Scanner: Uploaded videos and captions are analyzed by an automated system to estimate viral potential. Results are predictions, not guarantees. • AI Ad Scanner: When a brand uses the Ad Scanner, the ad image or creative and any ad copy provided are processed by a third-party AI provider to generate a performance score, feedback, and policy-risk flags. This is used to deliver the scanner results to the brand. Results are predictions, not guarantees. • AI Support Assistant: When you use our in-app support chat, your messages and limited account context (such as your role and balance) are processed by a third-party AI provider to answer your questions. Conversations may be stored to improve support and, where necessary, escalated to our human support team. We do not use your content or messages to train third-party public AI models. AI processing is used to deliver these features to you.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: • Payment processors (Stripe, Paystack) to complete transactions • Cloud storage and database providers (Cloudinary, Supabase) to operate the platform; dispute evidence photos are stored via Cloudinary and reviewed by Sellpher support to resolve the dispute • Our hosting provider (Vercel), which processes requests to Sellpher, including IP addresses • Our email provider (Resend), which receives your name and email address to send you account and transactional emails, and marketing emails unless you have unsubscribed • Expo, which delivers push notifications to your device • AI service providers, including Anthropic, that power the Video Scanner, Ad Scanner, and support assistant (they process data to provide the feature and do not receive your payment details) • Law enforcement when legally required
We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to protect your data in transit. Your data is stored in secure, access-controlled databases. We regularly review our security practices.
You have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, export your data, and delete your account. To exercise the first three, contact privacy@sellpher.com. Deleting your account How to delete your Sellpher account: open Sellpher (the app or sellpher.com), go to Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm. If you can no longer sign in, email privacy@sellpher.com from your registered email address and we will process the deletion the same way, with the same 30-day grace period. • 30-day grace period. Your request is not processed immediately. Nothing is removed for 30 days. • Signing back in cancels it. If you log in at any point during those 30 days, the deletion request is cancelled automatically and your account continues as normal. • Any remaining balance is forfeited. You must explicitly consent to this before the request is accepted. Withdraw your balance first if you want it. What happens after 30 days — please read this carefully. We anonymize your account rather than erasing it outright. We are not able to delete it completely, because financial records must be retained for accounting, tax, and payment-dispute purposes, and those records are linked to your account. Removed or anonymized: your name, email address, username, company name, website, WhatsApp number, date of birth, gender, biography, goals, social handles (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), notification device tokens, saved bank and payout account details, and your ability to sign in (the login is permanently disabled). Retained in anonymized form: transaction, payment, payout, and withdrawal records, and a small number of non-identifying attributes attached to them (country, currency, and coarse market attributes such as niche or follower count). These are kept because we are required to retain financial records, and because they are needed to resolve any future payment dispute. They are no longer linked to a name, email address, or any way of contacting you. Uploaded media is not deleted. Your profile photo, portfolio highlights, submitted videos, and any dispute evidence you uploaded are stored with our media provider (Cloudinary) and are not erased when your account is anonymized. Your profile photo is unlinked from your account, but the underlying file is retained. Videos you submitted to a campaign are retained as the record of what a brand approved and what a payment was calculated against. For a paid deal the brand also holds a licence to the content. We keep the file rather than a description of it because it is the only evidence of what was actually approved if that is ever disputed. If you need specific uploaded files removed, contact privacy@sellpher.com and we will remove what we are able to. For any other request, for example, erasure under a specific legal right, contact privacy@sellpher.com and we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.
Sellpher is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
If you connect your TikTok account to Sellpher, we receive your TikTok user ID and display name, and we can read view and engagement counts on videos you have published to that account. We use this only to calculate what you earned on campaigns you took part in. To read those counts during a campaign's tracking period, we store an access token issued by TikTok. We never post, edit, or delete content on your TikTok account. Connecting is optional. You can disconnect at any time from your Sellpher settings, or revoke Sellpher's access from TikTok's own settings. Disconnecting deletes the stored access token. For CPM campaigns, your views are counted at a fixed point after posting, a tracking window, not indefinitely, after which the count is final. Payment for a CPM submission may be held for a review period before it is released, and may be held longer if the view count drops sharply between readings.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of Sellpher after changes means you accept the updated policy.
